The Embassy would like to inform our costumers about the following deadlines:
02/01/2008 ::
- For C-visa applicants (regular visitors visas for max. 90 days, including business, conferences and sports events etc.), the Embassy will require not less than 4 weeks for processing the case. This does not apply for cases that are sent for processing to UDI, when the processing period will be longer. The Embassy will inform you when the visa is granted, provided that you have given us your contact information.
- When you come to the Embassy with your passport to get the visa sticker issued, the Embassy will require 3 working days before returning the passport with the visa to you. (From Beirut 7 -10 days)
- For first time D-visa applicants (7 days entry visa); the embassy will require 5 weeks to process your application.
- If you have a valid permit in Norway, but your current residence permit has expired and you need a 7 day visa to enter Norway, you must expect a 7 day processing period after applying for the visa.
- If you want to have papers etc. verified or legalized, you must expect 2-3 days processing period after submitting the papers to be legalized.
