The Norwegian Prince Christened

Illustrating a powerful set of lungs, Norwegian Prince Sverre Magnus was held by his grandmother Queen Sonja during the christening ceremony at the Palace Chapel in Oslo 4 March. See the official pictures here.

Prince Sverre Magnus was born 3 December 2005 at Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo, and is the son of HRH Crown Prince Haakon Magnus and HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit. The Prince is third in line of sucession to the Norwegian throne, after his father and sister, HRH Princess Ingrid Alexandra. The Prince was baptised 4 March 2006 in the Palace Chapel in Oslo.
